Core concepts
Workspaces, sites, campaigns, claims.
AuthoritySignal models four primary entities. Knowing them up-front makes the rest of the docs read more clearly.
- Workspace
- A tenant. Holds members, billing, an industry template, and all downstream data. Strict RLS isolation — a workspace member cannot see data from another workspace even if you guess the URL.
- Site
- A web property under a workspace. Most workspaces have one site (the brand domain); agencies on the Team plan run several. Sites are what the crawler audits and what traffic snapshots attach to.
- Campaign
- A coordinated authority push — usually one press release plus its supporting assets (landing-page additions, JSON-LD updates, internal linking). Campaigns track distribution syndication and AI citations over time.
- Claim
- A single factual statement that goes into a campaign. Claims pass through the Claim Safety Gate before they can be embedded in a draft. Each claim has an evidence URL list which the gate verifies.
